moving on . . .

Finished "The Sixth Target" while I was doing laundry on Monday. There were so many things going on in that book, multiple shootings on the ferry, child kidnapping and slaughters in an apartment building. The shooter on the ferry turned himself in so there was a court trial. All four of members of "The Women's Murder Club" were involved. I'm glad it was a fast read 'cause I couldn't figure out how the title of the book came to be. It's a clincher until the end I tell ya'. I'm looking forward to the seventh book.

Just started "Christmas Cookie Murder" by Leslie Meier. Her books are so delightful to read. Lucy Stone (main character) is a normal housewife who can't help herself. If she doesn't stumble across the body, she's looking for "who done it".

Once I'm finished with this book, I have a box full of books that a BFF sent to me. I won't need to visit the library for a long while. Happy trails . . . . reading

three wishes

I had to finish reading this book today. It was due back at the library and I wasn't able to extend the due date, someone else was waiting to check it out. I haven't read very many of Barbara Delinsky's books. This one is strictly for "the girls". It's a very sweet romance novel with some suspense. Close to the end of the book I was reaching for the kleenex box, make that toilet paper since the box is empty.

I gave up reading Danielle Steele and Nora Roberts in preference for suspense. Kinda, sorta had my fill of those. I'm looking forward to reading "The 6th Target" by James Patterson. It's part of his Women's Murder Club series. Since it was also a television series, I can put faces to the characters.

I have managed to replace the missing documents in my Book file. I still need to re-do my list for the library. Still can't believe such a wierd computer glitch or theft!

finished another one!

This Dean Koontz novel "Odd Hours" leaves you hanging. I'm sure his next book will pickup where he left off. I only wish I had it already. Now I'm curious where he is headed with the character Odd Thomas. "In Odd We Trust" will definitely be on my list when I make my next trip to the library.

Barbara Delinsky is a new author for me. I've enjoyed her other novels so I'm sure I will enjoy "Three Wishes".

A dear friend sent me a rather large box of books so I shouldn't need to go to the library other than to return the books I currently have. Hmmmm! I might just have to get the next Odd book though.

This evening I discovered that what ever attacked my computer and took some files from my stored pictures also took a few of my word documents which I have books by author. That might be a run on sentence, but I hope you get my drift. It's all very weird to me. What purpose did this theft serve, other than to really p--- me off? Now I have no clue what else might be missing.
